Senior Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

The Senior Commercial Finance Manager will provide expert financial analysis and strategic insight for a well‑established public sector organisation. You will lead a finance team, manage stakeholder relationships and ensure robust financial governance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision‑making.
• Manage joint‑venture reporting and ensure accurate consolidation.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, aligning them with organisational goals.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and new opportunities.
• Prepare presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in financial analysis, modelling and reporting.
• Background in the public sector or similarly structured environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience working on joint‑venture projects.
• Ability to manage and develop a finance team.
