Senior Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑focused Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join the leadership team of a large consumer‑facing business. The role sits at the heart of operational and commercial decision‑making, providing insight, challenge and strategic guidance to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop commercial models to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Analyse performance across revenue‑generating and operational areas, identifying profitability and efficiency opportunities.
• Partner with senior leaders to evaluate growth initiatives, pricing opportunities and investment cases.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for key business areas.
• Produce insight‑led reporting and presentations for Executive and Board audiences.
• Support business cases, scenario modelling and strategic projects.
• Manage and develop one analyst within the team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial finance, business partnering, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills with experience addressing senior leadership.
• Proactive, confident and comfortable challenging decisions.
