About the role

We are representing a rapidly expanding, award‑winning commercial insurance brokerage looking for a senior broker to join our established team in Bolton. The role will involve leading broking activities with regional insurers and supporting the director in implementing the broking strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead broking initiatives to regional insurer markets.
• Support the director with the development and execution of the broking strategy.
• Manage risk placement across sectors such as retail, leisure, hospitality, construction, transportation and manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and insurers.
• Identify opportunities for new business and niche product solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance broking.
• Strong technical understanding of commercial lines and niche products.
• Trading mentality with a tactical approach to broking.
• Professional appearance and motivated attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a senior team.
