Senior Commercial Insurance Broker

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Insurance Broker with at least five years of experience in the UK commercial market. You will join a well‑established corporate broker that combines the resources of a large group with an independent spirit, based in Gillingham, South East England.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers across a range of commercial lines such as Combined, Property, Professional Indemnity, D&O and Construction.
• Prepare and deliver client renewal reports, pre‑renewal documentation and presentation materials.
• Review claims and coordinate renewal meetings with clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Liaise with clients and insurers on mid‑term adjustments and other portfolio management activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in the UK commercial insurance market.
• Proven ability to manage a mixed portfolio of commercial risks.
• Strong client‑focused approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Team player who works collaboratively with account executives to achieve shared goals.
