Senior Commercial Pricing Manager

About the role

The Senior Commercial Pricing Manager reports to the Country Manager – US and works from one of APG’s offices in London, Kowloon, Guangzhou or New York. The role leads the creation of competitive pricing solutions, owns complex financial modelling and supports bid and tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop commercially robust pricing solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.
• Own complex financial modelling, pricing strategies and business cases, delivering cost, margin and risk analysis.
• Translate operational, commercial and financial requirements into compelling bid submissions and pricing proposals.
• Provide scenario modelling, sensitivity analysis and strategic insights for executive decision‑making.
• Partner with Business Development and Operations to challenge assumptions, optimise solutions and maximise profitability.
• Establish and continuously improve pricing frameworks, tools and governance processes.
• Act as the organisation’s pricing SME, collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Ensure all pricing submissions comply with internal governance and commercial policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in commercial pricing, bid management, financial modelling or commercial finance within a complex business environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer requirements, competitiveness, risk and profitability.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
