Senior Computational Biologist

About the role

We are seeking a talented Computational Biologist to join our Data Sciences team at our Cambridge, UK site and play a central role in the engine that drives our RNA‑medicine platform. The position sits at the interface between large experimental datasets and predictive modelling, allowing you to translate analyses directly into better therapeutic molecules.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated, reproducible pipelines for processing and quality‑controlling high‑throughput screening data.
• Analyse and integrate large, diverse experimental datasets to generate scientific insights that guide platform development.
• Develop, train, and deploy machine‑learning models to predict molecular properties such as RNA and peptide stability.
• Collaborate with wet‑lab scientists to turn experimental questions into computational approaches and feed predictions back into design cycles.
• Create accessible tools and visualisations for self‑service use by bench scientists.

Required profile

• PhD (or MSc with equivalent experience) in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline, preferably with industry exposure.
• Proven experience analysing in‑vitro high‑throughput screening data and building reproducible data‑processing pipelines.
• Strong collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills and ability to work across culturally diverse, distributed teams.
