Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst – London

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading US law firm for a Senior Conflicts & AML Analyst to join their Conflicts & New Business team in London. You will work closely with partners and senior business leaders to protect the firm while supporting new business growth across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed conflicts of interest searches and analyse results for legal and commercial risks.
• Prepare comprehensive conflicts reports for partners and legal teams.
• Perform client due diligence, AML verification, sanctions and adverse media screening.
• Draft clear AML risk assessments and onboarding documentation.
• Escalate high‑risk matters to senior compliance as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in the firm’s conflicts and compliance systems.
• Build trusted relationships across the business and advise on compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in conflicts, AML or compliance within a US or international law firm.
• Strong understanding of conflicts and AML processes and US conflicts rules (advantageous).
• Excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
• Law degree or legal qualification is a plus but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Intapp Open or similar conflicts management software.
