Senior Construction Project Manager – Healthcare

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead healthcare construction projects in London. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and to the high standards expected by NHS and public‑sector clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple NHS and healthcare construction projects, from refurbishment to new‑build schemes.
- Act as the primary contact between clients, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Manage the full project lifecycle – feasibility, business case, programme, budget, risk register and handover.
- Chair project meetings and provide clear updates to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor contractor performance, programme compliance, quality, health & safety and statutory requirements.
- Administer contracts, change control, compensation events and variations.
- Advise clients on procurement strategies, project risks and commercial matters.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager in the healthcare or NHS sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management and client‑facing skills.
- Knowledge of NHS guidance, healthcare standards and relevant statutory regulations.
- Experience delivering projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
