Senior Construction Solicitor (Associate)

About the role

Holmes & Hills is looking for an experienced Construction Solicitor to join its expanding Construction team as a Senior Associate. You will manage a diverse portfolio of high‑value contentious construction matters across the UK, including adjudications, enforcement proceedings and litigation in the Technology and Construction Court.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage your own caseload of adjudications, enforcement actions and court litigation.
• Provide non‑contentious advice on contract drafting, risk management and project strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients across the construction supply chain, from subcontractors to main contractors and developers.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management with support from the marketing team.
• Collaborate with senior partners and other practice areas to deliver commercially focused solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with several years of experience in construction law.
• Proven track record in adjudication and construction‑related litigation.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex, high‑value matters.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to lead client matters from day one.
