Senior Consultant – Aviation Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Aviation Advisory team at Cirium, the leading aviation analytics provider. The role will support strategic advisory projects for global aviation clients, leveraging data, analytics and industry insight to shape decisions across airlines, airports, financiers and manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver advisory projects using Cirium’s data and analytics across aircraft finance, leasing, aerospace, airline and airport markets.
• Conduct market analysis, forecasting, route analysis and strategic advice assignments using internal and external datasets and primary research.
• Advise clients on strategy development, transformational change, organisational restructuring and functional effectiveness improvements.
• Produce research on global aviation trends, regulatory frameworks, competitive landscapes and market dynamics.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, client presentations and thought‑leadership content.
• Manage project workflows and ensure timely delivery of advisory engagements.

Required profile

• Proven experience researching, manipulating and analysing large datasets and presenting findings to varied audiences.
• Professional experience in the aviation industry or a strong understanding of the aviation sector; experience in financial services or consulting is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional language proficiency is advantageous.
• Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills with the ability to explain complex findings clearly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Power BI for visual analytics and dashboard creation.
• Ability to develop interactive visualisations in Tableau.
