Senior Consultant – Competitive Strategy

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join Prescient’s Competitive Strategy practice in London. The role involves supporting global biopharma clients across the product life‑cycle, from early pipeline to post‑launch, delivering insight‑led recommendations that shape commercial and clinical strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute projects addressing strategic business questions, ensuring high‑quality analyses and client deliverables.
• Manage discrete workstreams, including research, data analysis, synthesis of insights, and preparation of client presentations.
• Support account planning, business development, and proposal development to grow Prescient’s presence within existing accounts.
• Engage with clients, communicate findings, and contribute to thought‑partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Leverage therapeutic, clinical and commercial expertise to provide subject‑matter insights and mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in biopharmaceutical consulting, healthcare strategy or a client‑services environment; competitive intelligence experience preferred.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality deliverables and manage client relationships with clear communication.
• Solid foundational knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry, especially clinical development.
• Strong learning agility, ability to simplify complex ideas, and openness to feedback.
• BA/BS required; an advanced life‑science degree is preferred.
