Senior Consultant, Transfer Pricing

About the role

Ryan is looking for a Senior Consultant, Transfer Pricing, to join its rapidly expanding group. Working closely with the Transfer Pricing Lead and Manager, you will help grow and deliver the UK Transfer Pricing practice, developing your technical expertise and taking on more responsibility in a fast-growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the growth strategy of the UK practice, contribute to client engagements and support new business initiatives
• Assist business development by preparing materials and supporting proposals
• Help design and implement transfer pricing policies for a diverse portfolio of international clients
• Conduct functional analysis interviews and prepare deliverables and documentation in line with UK legislation and OECD guidelines
• Support cross-border financing engagements, including UK thin capitalisation analysis and interest rate benchmarking
• Perform economic analysis and benchmarking using industry-standard transfer pricing databases
• Handle day-to-day client interactions and draft technical reports with attention to detail

Required profile

• ACA-qualified or working towards an equivalent professional certification
• Good understanding of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD principles
• Exposure to thin capitalisation rules and intercompany financing is advantageous
• Able to turn technical tax concepts into clear, practical outputs with guidance
• Strong written communication and collaborative, proactive attitude

Required skills

• Experience using transfer pricing databases for benchmarking and analysis
• Knowledge of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD principles
