Senior Contract Manager

About the role

The Senior Contract Manager will lead hard‑services facilities management for a major education sector client across Cardiff, ensuring service excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee hard services (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) delivery and contractor performance.
• Maintain compliance with QSHE standards and critical system infrastructure.
• Manage contract budgets, full P&L responsibility and profitability.
• Develop and grow commercial contracts, identifying organic growth opportunities.
• Lead a team of 10 engineers and support staff, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing facilities management or building services contracts.
• Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Experience with critical system infrastructure and strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent customer relationship management and leadership skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving ability with a track record of contract growth.
