Senior Conveyancing Solicitor – Lead Small Team

About the role

We are seeking an experienced solicitor to lead a small conveyancing team in Colchester. You will manage a busy residential conveyancing caseload while focusing on complex property matters for investors, developers, landowners and banks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of conveyancing professionals.
• Oversee a diverse residential conveyancing portfolio, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Act for a wide range of clients, including property investors, developers, landowners and financial institutions.
• Collaborate with a dedicated support team to streamline case management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of property law and conveyancing best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a small legal team.
• Strong track record handling property transactions for investors, developers and banks.
