About the role
As a Senior Copy Editor within a specialist public‑sector division, you will ensure that all written materials are accurate, consistent and aligned with brand standards. Your work will directly support the marketing team in delivering clear, engaging content that communicates key messages effectively.
Key responsibilities
- Edit and proofread a wide range of documents, marketing collateral and digital content.
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all outputs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to refine messaging, tone and audience targeting.
- Identify and correct grammatical, spelling and stylistic errors.
- Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve overall quality.
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Required profile
- Proven experience editing and proofreading professional content.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively and oversee team output.
- Familiarity with public‑sector communications is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Required skills
What we offer
- PAYE hourly rate of up to £21.59.
- AWR holiday pay.
- Four days per week on‑site work.
- BPSS check required, including DBS and referencing.
