Senior Corporate Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a versatile, high‑caliber Senior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team in London. The role blends traditional corporate law with the fast‑evolving world of digital assets, fintech and crypto, offering a broad variety of legal work.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements, including crypto‑related contracts such as liquidity provider, custody and payment processing terms.
• Oversee corporate governance for US and global entities, handle board secretarial duties, entity formations/dissolutions and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.
• Provide end‑to‑end legal support for fundraising rounds and M&A transactions, including due diligence, data‑room oversight and definitive agreement negotiation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to product, finance, HR and operations teams, identifying legal risks, developing mitigation strategies and maintaining internal legal templates.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited US law school and active bar membership in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years of experience in a high‑growth in‑house legal environment.
• Proven track record in fintech, payments or crypto/web3 sectors is highly preferred.
• Excellent ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑lawyers with clarity and brevity.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑changing regulatory environments and able to pivot quickly.
