About the role

Join a collaborative in‑house legal team in London, working on high‑quality deal work and investment advisory matters. The position is tailored for a lawyer trained in private equity, venture capital, and M&A who holds a qualification in England and Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate legal advice on private equity, venture capital and merger‑and‑acquisition transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Support investment teams with due‑diligence and regulatory compliance.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and oversee legal risk across the business.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Significant experience in a city law firm handling private equity, VC or M&A matters.
• Previous in‑house exposure, either through secondments or full‑time roles, is essential.
• Strong analytical abilities and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
