Senior Corporate Solicitor – M&A & Private Equity (Hybrid)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a Senior Corporate Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its growing Corporate & Commercial team in the South West. The role offers the chance to work on high‑value M&A, private equity and corporate transactions for a diverse client base while enjoying hybrid working and clear career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, including business sales, acquisitions, disposals, MBOs and MBIs.
• Structure and negotiate private equity and venture capital investments.
• Draft and review shareholder, investment and joint‑venture agreements.
• Handle corporate restructurings, reorganisations, and governance matters.
• Provide general company law advice across multiple sectors.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in England & Wales.
• Minimum 6 years post‑qualification experience, preferably in corporate M&A.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactional work.
• Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic client approach.
• Experience in a top‑100, national, regional or boutique law firm.
