Senior Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cost Consultant / Quantity Surveyor to join a well‑established construction cost consultancy on the outskirts of Gloucester. The role offers a supportive environment, clear progression to Associate and Director levels, and dedicated mentorship for APC progression.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive quantity surveying and cost consultancy services across building and infrastructure projects.
• Manage projects from inception to completion with a high degree of autonomy.
• Liaise directly with clients, contractors and other consultants to achieve project goals.
• Report to the Director of Cost and contribute to the strategic development of the regional team.

Required profile

• MRICS chartered status preferred; candidates working toward APC are welcome.
• BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related field.
• Proven experience with a reputable UK cost consultancy or PQS firm.
• Valid UK driving licence for site visits within Gloucestershire and surrounding counties.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
