Senior Cost Manager – Energy Infrastructure

About the role

The Resolute Group is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join a leading client‑side construction and infrastructure consultancy. The role supports nationally significant power and energy infrastructure programmes, delivering major electricity transmission and grid reinforcement projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts and budgets for large infrastructure packages.
• Manage change control, compensation events and NEC (Option E) contract administration.
• Review contractor submissions, valuations and commercial reports.
• Provide commercial assurance and reporting at programme level.
• Support risk, value and cost governance across live projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quantity surveying, cost management or a similar commercial role.
• Strong exposure to New Engineering Contracts (NEC3 or NEC4).
• Background in infrastructure, utilities, power or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate cost reporting and manage change control.

• Salary range £55,000 – £65,000 per year (basic)
