Senior Costs Lawyer – London

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Costs Lawyer to join our Litigation Costs team in London. The role sits just below partner level, offering strategic influence over the growth of the practice while allowing the successful candidate to work largely from home with regular London market engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex litigation costs work for high‑value and intricate cases.
• Develop and manage client relationships across the London market.
• Identify and grow new business opportunities, supporting the client pipeline.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Costs Lawyer with several years of experience in litigation costs in London.
• Demonstrated commercial awareness and ability to win work.
• Experience with CAT/Competition Appeal Tribunal costs is advantageous.
• Based in or near London and comfortable working in a collaborative national team.

Required skills

• Expertise in litigation costs law.
• Knowledge of CAT/Competition Appeal Tribunal costs procedures.
