Senior C++/Python Developer – Systematic Trading

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer to join a core team at a world‑leading systematic trading firm. You will work closely with traders and researchers to build and enhance the critical components that power algorithmic trading and data‑management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise C++ and Python applications on Linux for real‑time trading.
• Collaborate with traders and quantitative researchers to deliver bespoke tooling and address immediate business needs.
• Maintain and improve high‑performance computing infrastructure supporting multiple asset classes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial services, preferably at a tier‑1 investment bank or fund.
• Strong expertise in C++ and Python development on Linux.
• Solid understanding of real‑time systems, high‑performance computing and quantitative applications.
