Senior Criminal Lawyer – Senior Associate

About the role
We are a leading criminal defence firm in London seeking a Senior Criminal Lawyer to join our specialist team as a Senior Associate. You will manage your own caseload, supervise junior lawyers and help grow the reputation of the practice.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a broad caseload of serious and complex criminal defence matters.
- Advise clients throughout investigations, police stations, Magistrates' Court and Crown Court.
- Prepare cases for trial and work closely with counsel and expert witnesses.
- Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals.
- Maintain and develop strong client and referrer relationships.
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the team.
Required profile
- Significant experience in criminal defence with strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent judgement and confidence handling serious, high‑pressure cases.
- Proven client‑care, advocacy and case‑management abilities.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
- Proactive, commercially aware and team‑focused approach.
