Senior Customer Service Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Customer Service Executive to join a fast‑growing finance business in South East London. You will work closely with the Customer Service Manager, acting as a subject‑matter expert and helping to raise the standard of service across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional telephone and email support to asset‑finance customers.
• Serve as the go‑to expert for complex enquiries, settlements, statement requests, account amendments, refinancing queries, cash allocation, refunds, agreement unwinds and exposure calculations.
• Coach and mentor team members on systems, processes and best practice.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new colleagues.
• Support workflow management, prioritisation and escalation of customer concerns.
• Identify and propose improvements to the customer experience and operational processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the asset finance industry (hire purchase, leasing, refinancing, asset‑backed lending).
• Previous senior customer service, operations or account‑management role.
• Strong knowledge of asset‑finance processes and customer journeys.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and support colleagues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
