Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

MTVH is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to protect its systems, data and customers while advancing its cyber security strategy. Working closely with the Cyber Security Manager, you will secure the Microsoft 365 environment, cloud platforms, networks and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations into security incidents and emerging threats.
• Manage and enhance Microsoft security technologies such as Defender, Intune, Entra ID and Purview.
• Support vulnerability management, threat hunting and security monitoring activities.
• Conduct security reviews, audits and penetration testing exercises.
• Provide expert security advice on projects and new technologies, including AI.
• Support compliance with CIS, Cyber Essentials Plus and other recognised frameworks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a cyber security role with strong understanding of modern security principles and cloud security.
• Ability to work with stakeholders, translate technical risks into practical solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCNA, CCSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are desirable but not essential.
