Senior Cyber Underwriter

About the role

Our client, a leading commercial insurer based in Manchester, is expanding its Cyber team. The Senior Cyber Underwriter will manage cyber risk portfolios across the UK, work closely with brokers, and help grow the business.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite cyber risks for a range of commercial clients throughout the UK.
• Liaise with broker partners to win new business and retain existing accounts.
• Attend face‑to‑face broker meetings as required.
• Mentor and develop two junior members of the cyber underwriting team.
• Take referrals and support the professional progression of junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cyber underwriting or a strong technical underwriting background with solid cyber knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Positive, team‑focused attitude with the ability to coach others.
