Senior Cyber Underwriter

About the role

IPS Group is partnering with a global insurer to build a new cyber underwriting team in the UK. As a Senior Cyber Underwriter you will be responsible for both new business and renewal portfolios, working closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite new cyber business and manage renewal accounts.
• Drive profitable new business growth and negotiate key renewal terms.
• Develop and maintain strong broker relationships to enhance market presence.
• Review, negotiate and price broker‑submitted quotations.
• Utilise e‑trade and workflow platforms to process business efficiently.
• Support underwriting decisions with solid technical knowledge of cyber risk.

Required profile

• Approximately three years of experience underwriting cyber insurance, covering both new business and renewals.
• Proven ability to build and sustain broker relationships.
• Capability to mentor and guide junior team members.
