Senior Data Analyst - Marketing & Digital

About the role

This senior position sits within a data‑led marketing team, providing insight into digital performance, customer journeys and campaign effectiveness. You will work closely with major brands to translate data into strategic recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead post‑campaign analysis to evaluate performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Produce customer‑journey reporting across multiple digital touchpoints.
• Design, build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Manipulate large datasets with SQL and Python to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn business questions into analytical solutions.
• Support test‑and‑learn methodologies, including A/B testing and campaign optimisation.
• Mentor junior analysts and champion best‑practice within the team.

Required profile

• Commercial experience in marketing analytics within an agency or consultancy environment.
• Proven track record delivering post‑campaign analysis and customer‑journey insights.
• Strong understanding of digital measurement frameworks, tagging and attribution.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Python for data analysis and automation.
• Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation.
• Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for web and social performance measurement.
