Senior Data Engineer – Remote (UK)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing UK technology business that is building a modern, mobile‑first platform. As a Senior Data Engineer you will help scale the data platform that supports millions of customer interactions and low‑latency analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Develop solutions with Snowflake, dbt and modern orchestration tools such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Build and improve cloud‑native data infrastructure on AWS (or transferable GCP experience).
• Develop scalable data models and support the wider platform architecture.
• Improve testing, monitoring and engineering best practices across the platform.
• Work on both greenfield initiatives and existing production environments.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver robust, production‑grade data solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience building modern data platforms in fast‑moving technology businesses.
• Background in software or backend engineering, preferably within product‑led scale‑ups.
• Strong understanding of data modelling principles and best‑practice testing.
