Senior Data Scientist – Marketing Analytics

About the role

Preply is a fast‑growing ed‑tech unicorn that connects learners with tutors worldwide. As a Senior Data Scientist you will join a talented Data Team that partners with product, marketing and engineering to drive data‑driven decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with performance marketing teams to design data solutions that optimise campaigns, budgets and results.
• Roll out Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) across multiple countries and build an automated Bayesian MMM budgeting platform.
• Design and analyse incrementality tests, applying causal inference to quantify incremental ROI.
• Create a unified system linking MMM outcomes with incrementality insights and shape the testing roadmap.
• Develop a Creative Analytics framework, introducing metrics such as creative fatigue.
• Improve targeting and bidding strategies using regression models and predictive weights.
• Partner with the Applied AI team to support model roll‑outs, impact analysis and feature importance interpretation.
• Work closely with Data Engineering to build scalable pipelines and evolve ETL processes.

Required profile

• AI‑mindset: leverages AI to automate processes and empower stakeholders.
• Pragmatic problem‑solver who simplifies complex challenges.
• Extensive experience as a Data Scientist in B2C performance marketing, delivering insights and data products.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
