Senior Data Scientist – Product & Analytics

About the role

Monzo is looking for a Senior Product Data Scientist to help shape the bank of the future. You will work in a cross‑functional squad, using data to drive product decisions and boost user engagement for 2025 and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, designers, product managers and marketers to embed data science into product development.
• Design and run quantitative analyses, experiments and data‑mining projects that inform strategic decisions.
• Develop real‑time analytics and self‑serve dashboards, primarily using Looker.
• Translate complex findings into clear visualisations and actionable recommendations.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the overall data‑science culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior data scientist, preferably in a fast‑growing fintech or product‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into business impact.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
