Senior Delegated Authority Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Delegated Authority Analyst to join a leading Lloyd’s market insurer in London. The role will support the Delegated Authority team in governing, overseeing and ensuring compliance of a wide range of delegated arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist underwriters with onboarding, due‑diligence and ongoing monitoring of coverholders, lineslips, consortiums and delegated claims administrators.
• Coordinate the annual audit programme, track completion and manage follow‑up actions.
• Produce governance reports, KPIs and performance insights for underwriting and senior stakeholders.
• Review and administer delegated authority arrangements in line with internal frameworks and Lloyd’s market requirements.
• Prepare regulatory and Lloyd’s market returns related to delegated authority.
• Support internal and external audit activities, project work and bordereaux/EPI monitoring.
• Mentor junior members of the Delegated Authority team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in delegated authority or underwriting operations within the Lloyd’s or London market.
• Strong understanding of delegated authority governance, due‑diligence, audit processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, investigative and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills across underwriting, compliance and operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Lloyd’s delegated authority systems such as DCOM, DAM, Lineage, Atlas, Crystal, DDM, VIPR Intrali or LWR.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
