Senior Delivery Manager

About the role

Methods is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to join its growing team on a permanent basis. You will work on public‑sector digital projects, delivering user‑centred services while mentoring junior and mid‑level Delivery Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary client contact, collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead agile delivery and transformation initiatives across multiple projects or a portfolio.
• Support recruitment of permanent and contract Delivery Managers.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior and graduate Delivery Managers.
• Help create a safe, inclusive environment for the delivery team and support Lead Delivery Managers in team development.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering digital services in a public‑sector environment.
• Familiarity with public‑sector standards such as the Service Standard.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with senior client stakeholders.
• Passion for developing and supporting junior delivery talent.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously at a portfolio level.
