Senior Design Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Coordinator to lead high‑profile construction projects across London. You will be at the centre of design delivery, managing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that complex building envelopes and façade systems meet strict regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate design information, programmes and Information Release Schedules (IRS) for live UK projects.
• Allocate, plan and balance workloads for internal designers and external consultants.
• Lead design meetings and integrate inputs from façade, structural, thermal, acoustic and fire engineering disciplines.
• Oversee design risk registers, change control, document management and compliance with UK Building Regulations, British Standards and NHBC guidelines.
• Track IRS performance, compile KPI reports and communicate metrics to senior leadership.
• Capture lessons learned to optimise workflows and cross‑departmental coordination.

Required profile

• Direct experience managing design on live UK construction projects, especially building envelope and façade systems.
• Hands‑on experience using CAD or BIM tools.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, British Standards and NHBC requirements.
• Proven ability to run design programmes, set IRS and balance team workloads.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
