About the role
We are seeking a Senior Design Manager to join our Natural Resources team on a major Thames Valley project at Wisley, Surrey. You will lead the design phase of wastewater treatment upgrades and resilience works, coordinating both on‑site and remote activities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with architects, engineers and other consultants to develop comprehensive design solutions.
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications and related project documents.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, building codes and client requirements.
- Develop and implement effective design management processes and procedures.
- Monitor design progress, identify risks and manage design change control and documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
- Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role in the civil/construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes and industry standards.
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and BIM tools.
