Senior Developer – Internal Applications & Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Developer to design, build and maintain innovative internal applications, integrations and automations that empower our teams. The role will be based in one of our UK offices and will contribute to streamlining processes and unlocking data and AI potential across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development of internal applications, integrations and automations from concept through testing, deployment and support.
• Create scalable applications, APIs, scripts and automated workflows using Python, TypeScript, C#, SQL and cloud platforms.
• Develop secure integrations between Menzies platforms and third‑party systems using APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify challenges and deliver practical technology solutions.
• Build intelligent tools leveraging Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery and AI capabilities.
• Ensure engineering excellence through Git/GitHub, code reviews, CI/CD and thorough documentation.

Required profile

• A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience delivering software, applications or automation solutions in a live business environment.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams and translate technical concepts into business value.
