Senior Developer - Real Time Investment Data Systems

About the role

We are supporting a leading global investment firm in hiring a Senior Developer for their Front Office Investment Technology team. You will work on a multi‑year programme to build a centralised real‑time investment data platform used by Portfolio Managers, Traders and Quant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate vendor market‑data platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv or MarketAxess.
• Design and deliver scalable, cloud‑based data services on AWS.
• Provide a consistent, real‑time investment data capability across the business.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.
• Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines and event‑driven systems.

Required profile

• Proven Python development experience.
• Experience building investment or market‑data platforms within Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of front‑office investment data (market data, pricing, orders, positions, portfolios).
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, serverless architectures).
• Familiarity with real‑time, time‑series and event‑driven data processing.
