Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) – Hybrid – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our AWS‑based platform that powers AI‑enabled, data‑intensive products. The role is hybrid, based in Bristol, and offers the chance to shape the DevOps function within a fast‑growing tech‑for‑good scale‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines for containerised applications.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure reliable delivery of AI‑driven services.
• Implement and manage container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior DevOps or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong interest in AI‑enabled products and data‑heavy workloads.
• Ability to work autonomously while influencing cross‑functional teams.
