Senior DevOps Engineer – Enhanced DV Clearance

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a consultancy delivering high‑impact solutions for national security clients. The role is based in Gloucestershire and requires an active Enhanced DV clearance. You will work on mission‑critical projects, applying modern DevOps practices to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects.
• Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Ansible or Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability and security into the software lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide best‑practice adoption.
• Engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Active Enhanced DV clearance.
• Hands‑on experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps environment.
• Proven ability to mentor and support junior team members.
• Willingness to work onsite in Gloucestershire or commute.
