Senior Director, ERP Technology & Operations

About the role

Gilead is seeking a Senior Director to own the strategy, performance and operational excellence of its enterprise ERP ecosystem. The leader will ensure the AI‑enabled SAP platform remains stable, secure, compliant and scalable, supporting the end‑to‑end value chain that delivers medicines worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for the ERP technology stack across planning, supply, manufacturing, distribution, finance and enterprise reporting.
• Lead a global team covering SAP DevOps, reporting & analytics, security, testing, validation, architecture and platform operations.
• Manage relationships with key outsourced partners and ensure alignment with business, quality and compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, resilience and scalability of ERP capabilities.
• Act as a senior technology leader within Enterprise Solutions & Business Partnering, influencing cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in ERP technology, preferably SAP, within a large, regulated organization.
• Strong track record of managing global, multi‑disciplinary technology teams.
• Deep understanding of security, compliance, testing and validation in enterprise environments.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions.
