Senior Editor – BeverageDaily

About the role

As Senior Editor for BeverageDaily, you will lead the editorial vision and drive content strategy across digital, broadcast and live platforms. You will combine editorial expertise with commercial insight to grow audience engagement and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the editorial direction for BeverageDaily, ensuring content remains relevant and differentiated.
• Oversee planning, production and delivery of high‑quality content across digital, premium and multimedia formats.
• Identify market trends and translate them into compelling content initiatives and commercial opportunities.
• Use audience insight and performance data to optimise engagement and support growth.
• Develop and manage content initiatives for events, broadcasts and emerging audience propositions.
• Collaborate with commercial, marketing and audience teams to align content with revenue goals while maintaining editorial integrity.
• Represent the brand at industry events, moderate panels and build stakeholder relationships.
• Lead, mentor and support the development of a direct report.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a digital editorial, content or media environment.
• Strong editorial judgement and ability to spot trends and shape strategies.
• Commercial awareness with a track record of driving audience growth and revenue.
• Creative, collaborative mindset and proven ability to develop content strategies.
• Experience using audience insight and analytics to inform decisions.
• Exceptional storytelling skills and ability to produce engaging, accessible content.
• Confidence representing a brand externally and building industry relationships.
• Previous people‑management experience, capable of mentoring a direct report.
