Senior EHS Manager – Construction & Industrial Projects

About the role

Join a leading international technical engineering and construction contractor as a Senior EHS Manager. You will be responsible for driving health, safety and environmental performance on high‑value, complex industrial projects across the UK and occasionally abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of EHS strategies and ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation.
• Provide inductions and ongoing training for site operatives and subcontractors.
• Oversee site welfare facilities and COSHH compliance.
• Monitor and report on safety performance, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed a proactive safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working on UK construction sites, preferably on large‑scale industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and environmental regulations.

Required skills

• Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management.
• Risk assessment and COSHH compliance.
• Induction delivery and safety training.
