Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the creation and integration of advanced electrical systems for maritime platforms. This permanent position offers the chance to work on innovative, safety‑critical projects within a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and integration of power distribution, control modules, motor control and battery systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system compliance with standards.
• Develop and test prototypes, supporting validation, performance and safety testing.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in system efficiency.
• Produce detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams and reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in electrical system design, integration and validation.
• Experience with power electronics, battery management systems and electric vehicle architectures.
• Proven ability to work on complex, safety‑critical projects.
