Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are a global advanced engineering and technology organisation seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi‑disciplinary product development team. The role focuses on designing and developing electrical modules and sub‑assemblies for complex engineered products, supporting customisation and delivering technical solutions throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical sub‑assemblies and complete systems.
• Create detailed engineering documentation, drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Support product customisation and development projects.
• Verify designs through calculations and testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in product development or engineering design environments.
• Knowledge of design for manufacture/assembly.
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering drawing tools.
• Understanding of schematics, system diagrams, or P&IDs.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
