Senior Electrical Engineer – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management organisation in Leeds. The role involves maintaining, repairing, testing and inspecting electrical, mechanical and building services across a range of sites, including healthcare facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building, mechanical and electrical services, plant and equipment.
• Perform minor installation, upgrades and adaptations in line with standards.
• Provide cover for absent colleagues to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Maintain accurate service records and produce regular progress reports.
• Act as a Competent or Authorised Person where required and support other trades.
• Liaise with other healthcare projects and undertake any additional duties appropriate to the grade.

Required profile

• Relevant electrical apprenticeship with a minimum of 3 years post‑apprenticeship experience.
• Experience in maintenance of building services; commercial experience in healthcare is a plus.
• Ability to work safely following statutory, NHS and company guidelines.
