Senior Electrical Engineer – Multi‑Skilled Shift Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a two‑person shift on a large commercial/office site in East London. The role involves overseeing preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and electrical installations across a 40+ store complex, working both day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a 2‑person shift delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of lighting, power distribution and HVAC equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults on control panels, motors, pumps and Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Perform electrical installations, modifications and upgrades in line with BS7671 (17th/18th Edition) standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in electrical installations.
• Knowledge of 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations (BS7671).
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
