Senior Electrical Project Engineer – West Midlands

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) in Solihull, West Midlands. The role involves delivering high-quality electrical engineering services across a range of sectors such as education, health, commercial and scientific projects.

Key responsibilities

• Procure, plan and execute electrical works safely in line with Kier standards, project requirements and legislation.
• Review designs with design teams and clients to improve construction efficiency, safety and compliance.
• Manage change-control processes, identify risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement quality-control procedures and maintain accurate project records.
• Provide leadership, set clear expectations and support the development of project team members.

Required profile

• Relevant industry-accredited qualification in electrical services and safety.
• Minimum CSCS and SMSTS accreditation.
• Strong collaborative attitude and ability to build positive relationships.
• Commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
• Desire to make an impact and develop a senior-level career.
