Senior Electronic Design Engineer – Hybrid (Bristol)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join our Bristol team on a hybrid basis. You will lead the development of next‑generation electronic products, turning concepts into fully documented hardware designs. The role offers the chance to make a technical impact while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic systems for new product introductions.
• Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts and test fixtures.
• Test, validate and iterate designs to meet performance and reliability targets.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality and supply‑chain teams to transition designs into production.
• Support existing products through troubleshooting, redesign and component obsolescence management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies and incorporate improvements where appropriate.
• Communicate design decisions to engineering, operations and management, with occasional international travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of post‑university experience in electronic hardware design.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Proven ability to deliver complete hardware designs from concept to production.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment.
