Senior Electronic Design Engineer

About the role

This senior position offers the chance to lead the design of next‑generation embedded display systems for industrial and marine markets. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, influencing products from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design electronic hardware for embedded display products and custom applications.
• Create complex schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
• Develop high‑performance single board computers based on modern SoC architectures.
• Work with product managers to refine requirements and specifications.
• Optimise designs for performance, manufacturability and cost.
• Develop test plans, support EMC compliance and perform hardware validation.
• Participate in design reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with embedded software engineers during board bring‑up and system integration.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an electronics hardware engineer in a commercial environment.
• Strong background in digital and analogue circuit design.
• Hands‑on experience with SoC‑based hardware, preferably NXP i.MX or similar.
• Ability to take ownership of complex hardware projects through the full product lifecycle.
