Senior Employee Relations Advisor – Remote Contract (Inside IR35)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Employee Relations Advisor to join a global education provider on a three‑month contract. The role is remote and operates inside IR35, reporting to the ER Manager and working with a small ER team to support UK‑based staff across schools and head office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex employee relations cases from start to finish.
• Provide risk‑aware advice on HR policies and ensure compliance with UK employment law.
• Support line managers and ER Advisors throughout case handling.
• Assist with Employment Tribunal matters and help reduce claim risk.
• Contribute to an ongoing TUPE project and advise on redundancy and restructure processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior ER advisor, preferably in education or a similar sector.
• CIPD qualification to at least Level 5.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best‑practice HR.
• Experience managing high‑volume, concurrent caseloads.
• Ability to deliver commercial, risk‑based advice and support tribunal claims.
